    No, Freedom2Support does not feature advertising on any area of our site, and we have no plans to introduce any.

    Sure. Please however bear in mind we no longer have a general links section, we have one in each product area.

    No, we are hosted outside the freedom2surf network, so in the event of freedom2surf problems we remain uneffected so we are able to help users out.

    No, the site is not hosted for free, it is funded by the Freedom2Support team and donations from our members. Our website is hosted by Hertfordshire based United Hosting.

  8. How do I join the Freedom2Support Team?
    Normally if we feel you have something to offer the Freedom2Support Team and we have spaces avaliable, we will contact you via the forums.

    We do not accept applications to join the Freedom2Support Team unless we have indicated in the news forum that we are on the lookout for new members (this is very rare).

    No, we're not officialy tied to freedom2surf, however freedom2surf reps do post on our forums with service updates and to help users out.

  12. Do you offer Support via Email?
    No, we do not, and never will offer support via email. There are two main reasons for this:

    - We are a Community based site, and we feel problems should be shared in our forums where everyone can see.

    - Freedom2Support is run purely in the Teams own spare time, we do not have the time, or resources to help every user via email.

    If you have a particuarly information sensitive question that you feel you can not post publicly however, feel free to private message a team member.

  13. What Hardware Powers the Freedom2Support Website?
    Our website is powered by top of the line hardware. It has Dual Opteron DualCore 265 processors, 4GB DDR 400 ECC Ram and 3 x Western Digital Caviar Raid Edition 250GB hard disks using 3ware Hardware Raid.

    The server runs Red Hat Enterprise Linux and is located in the Telstra London Hosting Centre in the Docklands area of London.
